FUNERAL OF CHARLES IRONS, MONDAY, MAR. 7
Sudden Death Comes as Result of Accident
      Was Fine Young Man

Saturday evening the community was shocked to hear of the sudden death of Charles W. Irons, aged 23 years, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Irons, of this place. Mr. Irons was fatally injured at the Linesville Hatchery while at work upon the duties which he carried on in charge of directing the operations about the large incubators. The accident which caused his untimely death occurred about four o'clock Saturday afternoon, March 5, 1932.
The Linesville Hatchery is owned and operated by members of the Irons family. Charles, following graduation at Linesville High School, attended Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio, where he graduated with high honors as a civil engineer. Since the completion of his school work he had been working with other members of the family in the operation of the local hatchery.
Only a few weeks ago the Herald contained a picture of the entire family group, Mr. and Mrs. Irons, the parents, Mrs. Loine Ash Irons, wife of the deceased, and brothers, Gordon, Winton, Robert, Howard and Gilbert together with Charles who formed the unbroken family circle. So soon the circle has been broken and the others survive the son, husband and brother.
In this column we are running a picture of Charles which was taken at the time of his graduation from the university. He had been a student of uncommon ability and his marks were high. His accomplishments had been a source of pride to his family and without doubt the means of satisfaction to the young man. Soon after graduation he brought to Linesville, his bride, a student of the same university and the young couple had started their home near his parents.
