      Carl R. VanDusen, 68, of Meadville, died Wednesday, April 3, 2003, at Meadville Medical Center.
      Born in Meadville Dec. 4, 1934, he was a son of Paul E. and Mary A. Young VanDusen.
      He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
      Survivors include a brother, William A. VanDusen of Linesville; and several children.
      Services will be private and burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
      Arrangements are under the direction of Harold W. Coleman Jr. Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.



      NOTE: His brother and niece were the only ones attending him at the ceremony. There were no calling hours, no visitation, no graveside services. His brother stated that Bud was "not one for ceremony" and wouldn't have wanted any of that stuff.
