      FRANK E. BUNDAY
      Frank Edward Bunday, one of Linesville's most highly respected and well known citizens, was called home on Saturday morning, Dec. 21, 1918.
      He was a son of the late Sylvester E. and Sarah J. Bunday, and was born in Linesville September 23rd, 1854. In his early life he entered into partnership with his father in the lumbar business which was conducted successfully for a long period of years under the firm name of SE Bunday & Company, and was later merged into the Bunday Lumber Company of which he was an active member until his death.
      He was a large public-spirited man in every way, and staunch and loyal to his own town. He was an acknowledged leader in every movement for the betterment of the community in which he lived.
      He was a faithful member of the Brotherhood of the United Presbyterian Church; of the Relief Lodge No. 284, F&AM, and a member of the Diamond Chapter No 120, OES.
      He was vice president and director of Linesville State Bank, and organizer of the Bunday Water Company, and for many years president and director of the Linesville Telegraph & Telephone Company; also prominently connected with many of the other leading industries of the town.
      He was a man of high Christian character, and his death will be a loss to the entire community. In 1875 he was married to Miss Emma Logee of Oxford, Ohio, who survives him. He is also survied by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph H. Grandey of Rochester, Pa., and three sisters, Mrs. Charles S. Gehr, Dr. Cora B. Gehr, and Mrs. WH Cram, all of Linesville, PA.
      Impressive services were held in his late home at 3 pm Monday, conducted by his pastor, Rev. JK McDivitt, assisted by Dr TB Anderson of College Hill, PA.
