      EDWARD EARLE MADIGAN
      Edward Earle Madigan, 63, of 325 W. Pine St., Linesville, died suddenly at home Saturday, May 12, 1984.
      He was born at Linesville, Aug. 8, 1920, a son of Edward M. and Jessie B. Vickers Madigan. He was married to Fay White, who survives.
      He owned and operated Madigan's Pharmacy, Linesville, since January 1955. He was a member of Linesville United Methodist Church. He was past mayor and borough councilman in Linesville, having served for many years.
      He was a veteran of World War II, serving in US Army-Air Force as a pilot in Europe. He was a graduate of Linesville High School in 1938, Edinboro College in 1942 and Ohio Northern University in 1948.
      He wad a member and past master of Pine Masonic Lodge 498, a member of Crawford County Shrine Club, Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie and Linesville American Legion Post 462. He was a founding member of Linesville Volunteer Fire Department, a member of Company 38 state police of Crawford and Erie counties, and Linesville Rotary Club.
      Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Jill) Niemann of Linesville; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Bishop of Linesville, and Mrs. Raymond (Betty) Shelton of Middletown; a brother, Harry F. Madigan of Linesville; and two grandsons.
      Friends may call today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at William H. Houghton Funeral Home, Linesville, where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Elder of Linesville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Linesville Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
