      ERMA K. DICKEY
      December 9, 1900 - April 17, 19989
      Erma K. Dickey, 97, of Center Road, Conneaut Township, died Friday, April 17, 1998, at Rolling Fields Nursing Home where she had been a resident for six years.
      She was born in Conneaut Township, Dec. 9, 1900, a daughter of Freehi John and Permelia Thayer Kendall. She married Clifford T. Dickey, March 15, 1924. He died March 27, 1970.
      A graduate of Linesville High School in the Class of 1919, she was employed in the office of Wright Dickey and Gilliland chair factory. After it was sold to Jamestown Machine and Manufacturing Co., later Blazon, she stayed on in the office retiring in 1966. In her early years, she was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Conneaut Center. She later joined the United Methodist Church in Linesville. She was a member of the Golden Rule Sunday School class and Diamond Chapter 120 of Eastern Star in Linesville.
      Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Ruth) Waring of Conneautville; a son, Richard K. Dickey of Bridgeville; four grandchildren, Niels Waring, Mark Waring, Cindy Dickey and Holly White; four great-grandchildren and several cousins. in addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Beams and a brother, Ralph Kendall.
      Calling hours were at Harold W. Coleman Jr. Funeral Home, Linesville, whre funeral services were held Mon., Apr. 20, 1998, with the Rev. Joseph C. Rial Jr. of Linesville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Linesville Cemetery.
