1889 MINUTES OF THE LINESVILLE CEMETERY ASSOCIATION



January 11, 1889


Cemetery Association met at Town Hall, members present R.H. Talcott, A.H. Splitstone and S.S. Tyler. Minutes of last meeting read and approved as read.

Moved and Carried that Vote on amendment to by laws be laid over for one week. Adjourned for one week from today.

January 18, 1889


Linesville Cemetery Association met at town Hall. Members present R.H. Talcott, S.S. Tyler, A.H. Splitstone.

Motion laid over from last meeting taken up and voted on and received the unanimous vote when Resolution to Section 4 of bylaws was declared to be enforce from this date.

February 8, 1889


Linesville Cemetery Association met at Town Hall. Members present Tho. Limber, S.S. Tyler, R.H. Talcott. Minutes of last meeting read and approved.

Moved and carried on Order be drawed on Treasurer for Two Dollas in favor of R.H. Talcott for Bill of H.D. Lowing.

Moved and carried on Order be drawed on Treasurer for R.H. Talcott for Ten Dollas as salary as Secretary.

Moved and carried on Order be drawed on Treasurer in favor of Thos. Limber of Twelve Dollars and Seventy Eight cents ($12.78) being cost our suit in court. Moved and Carried and Order be drawed on Treasurer of $1.25 in favor of Secretary for fees in filing suit in Court.

On Motion of S.S. Tyler Mr. J.G. Gaugh was elected to fill vacancy of Isaac Ladner, resigned.

Auditors appointed O.H. Cram, W.E. Brown. The old officers hold over as there was not enough to elect.

March 16, 1889


Cemetery Association met at Town Hall. T. Limber, R.H. Talcott, J.G. Gaugh and S.S. Tyler were present.

Auditors report received and placed on record. Report of Secretary - Received during year $77.55, Paid S.S. Tyler Treasurer $65.82, Balance in hands of Secretary $11.73. Report of Treasurer - S.S. Tyler on hand $121.17, Received of R.H. Talcott Secretary $65.82, Total $186.99; Paid out on orders $74.30, Balance in hands of S.S. Tyler Treasurer $112.69, Balance in hands of R.H. Talcott Secretary $11.73; Total Assetts $124.42.

Orders granted R.H. Talcott of $11.73 to balance auditor's report. Carried. Orders granted S.S. Tyler of $1.50. No further business, adjourned. Signed: R.H. Talcott, Secretary.
