1892 MINUTES OF THE LINESVILLE CEMETERY ASSOCIATION
February 17, 1892
Cemetery Association met at office of Secretary. Members present - Mes. Brown, Limber, Gaugh & Bowman. Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
On motion an order was granted J.G. Gaugh for Twenty 80/100 Dollars to pay indebtedness of Association. The debts are as follows: mowing cemetery $2.50, salary of Secretary $10.00, McLane & Schanck stove with pipe $5.55, printing election notice $1.00, coal Gehr Brothers $1.75. Carried.
At an election held Feb. 6, 1892 being Twelve Votes Cast. J.G. Gaugh and Eugene Shattuck having a majority of votes cast were elected Trustees for 3 years of the Cemetery Association.
On motion that the President be instructed to appoint two members of the Association to audit the accounts for the past two years. O.H. Cram & S.A. Miller were appointed.
There being no further business, on motion adjourned. Signed: W.A. Bowman, Secretary.
February 17, 1892
Association met for organization. On motion W.E. Brown was elected temporary president and W.A. Bowman temporary secretary. On motion Eugene Shattuck, T. Limber was nominated and elected, W.A. Bowman was elected permanent secretary at a salary of $10.00 per year.
On motion J.G. Gaugh was elected Treasurer. On motion Harvey Dun was elected sexton on same terms of his predecessor for ensuing year. Carried.
On motion that the Secretary be instructed to collect all out standing debts due the Association. Carried.
On motion adjourned to meet at call of the President.
